The two sleeves, and what each is for
- Penny sleeve — the loose standard-size first layer, sized for 63.5 × 88 mm cards. It is the default sleeve for bulk protection and the layer most 35 pt holders are designed to accommodate.
- Perfect-fit inner sleeve — about 64 × 89 mm, sized to hug a standard card with no margin. Its job is double-sleeving: loaded (often upside-down) inside an outer standard sleeve, it seals the card on all four edges.
Why the one-touch cares about thickness
